The Annual Blueberry Festival is on a Saturday in July from Noon to 4:00 PM. Enjoy blueberry treats at tables and chairs on the front lawn: Blueberry/Peach Cobbler "just like your Grandmother used to make," Blueberry/Pomegranate Smoothies and Blueberry Sundaes. Blueberry iced tea and lemonade will also be served. Baked goods to go include: Blueberry/Peach Cobbler, Blueberry Pies, Blueberry Coffee Cake, Blueberry Muffins and Scones. Even Blueberry Jam to go! Flower bouquets, freshly cut from local gardens are also be available.
Our popular hand-made wreaths, table decorations, vintage jewelry, baked goods, our own jams and chutneys, and fair trade gift baskets are available for sale—all kinds of festive things for gift-giving and decorating. We also have a lunch table, offering hot and cold cider, coffee, chili, chicken soup, cornbread and cookies. We welcome volunteers, young and old, to share in the festivities. Bring your friends and families to greet the holiday season!
The Annual Strawberry Festival takes place on a Saturday in June from Noon to 4:00 p.m. This family and community event kicks off the summer deliciously. Volunteers of all ages gather at 8:00 AM to prepare the berries for all the many treats. Come and enjoy them with neighbors and meet new friends!
Strawberries & Whipped Cream, Strawberries with Ice Cream, Strawberry Shortcake, and Strawberry Smoothies. Berries to go and Strawberry Jam prepared by “The Jammin Ladies” of the church will also be available. For those who like something tart with their berries, lemonade will be served.
August is peach season, so mark your calendar! The First Congregational Church of West Tisbury’s Annual Peach Festival is on a Saturday in August from Noon to 4:00 PM.
Come and enjoy many peach treats at tables and chairs on the front lawn: fresh peaches, peach smoothies, peaches with ice cream and peach shortcake. Goodies to go include: Blueberry/Peach Cobbler, Parfaits, homemade Peach Pies and Jams. Minted ice tea is served.
