The Men’s Bible Study is meeting on Wednesday mornings at 8:00 AM via Zoom. During this cycle, Woody Bowman will lead discussions exploring the New Testament book, The Acts of the Apostles. Especially as our congregation emphasizes our shared and individual journeys, it’s intriguing to note that in Acts more journeys take place than anywhere else in the Bible. An account of the excitement, energy, and work of the early church - and the challenges those first Christians faced, there really isn’t a dull page or chapter in Acts. But, equally importantly, the whole book reminds us that whatever ‘journey’ we are making, in our lives, our spirituality, our following of Jesus, and our work for his Kingdom, the Holy Spirit will guide us too and make us fruitful in Jesus’ service. Men in the congregation are invited to join in anytime for discussion, learning from one another, and fellowship. As always, bring your own cup of coffee – light fare is (most often) provided.
