THANKS TO ALL WHO CONTRIBUTED TO OUR SUCCESSFUL 2024 SEASON!

On Wednesday, April 24, 2024 the Community Suppers program served its "Last Supper" of the winter season.

There are at least 79 volunteers that participated in bringing these meals to an average of 101-178 people per week for 17 weeks...not including many extra soups and meals for the Homeless Shelter and the West Tisbury Library Food Pantry. This is a huge accomplishment for one tiny kitchen, a lot of work by many, expertly and lovingly tended by Coordinator and Chief Cook, Marjorie Peirce, assited by Ilona Metell, Co-Coordinator.

A huge thanks to everyone for providing this much-needed service for so many in our community. We are so grateful for the generous support we receive from Cronig's Market, Rosewater, the MV Community Foundation, the Slough Farm Foundation, the Kaltenbacher family, and our many individual donors who assist us in meeting the needs of our community. We couldn’t do it without you, and we are so grateful for your partnership in providing tasty meals for those in need.

Community outreach continues year-round, and as the emergency shelter season ends, we are working on a new program to get meals to those without housing. Stay tuned.
